Meet Joanne Gobeil, BA, M.C. 〰️

Welcome!

I am a registered Psychologist with the Alberta College of Psychologists (C.A.P), license #3688. I am licensed to provide virtual sessions in Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. I am also a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) #12918 and can work with clients in BC, AB, SK, MB, NL, NWT, NU, and YT. I hold certificates in CBT-M, exposure therapy, Gottman couples therapy, DBT, play therapy, and autism.

I have completed my doctoral level courses in grief counselling and working on my thesis. I have over 20 years of experience covering a wide range of issues including AD/HD, Loss, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD, ASD, OCD, etc. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and parents wanting to better understand and support children with AD/HD.

Regardless of all the training that I have taken and years of experience, my clients are the experts on themselves. My role is to use the training and experience that I have to provide my clients with the necessary tools to help them navigate through their journey and find self-fulfillment. I take pride in tailoring my approach to each of the clients that I am working with as there is no “one size fits all” in counselling.
